Keri Latimer Bio

Keri Latimer is a musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has been an internationally touring artist for over 15 years and has received numerous industry accolades, including a Canadian JUNO award with Nettwerk signed band, Nathan; Western Canadian Music and Canadian Folk Music Awards; and a Visual Media Breakout West Award for her feature film score for Shelagh Carter’s “Before Anything You Say.”

Other career highlights include 3 featured solo theremin performances with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, most notably in 2018 for the Canadian premiere of Bjork's composition, Family for strings.

She has contributed music for films including the Academy Award nominated feature film Frozen River by Courtney Hunt, and Only Dream Things by Guy Maddin. Her songs have appeared in NBC’s series, “Heroes” and “Warehouse 13.”

With the help of Canada Council, the Winnipeg Arts Council and the Manitoba Arts Council an album of music for theremin is being recorded to be released in 2024.
