A. I’m most proud of the fanbase that I have, they are truly the sweetest and it’s always so fun sharing music with them.

Q: Can you tell us about one woman or non-binary champion who has influenced your career and how?

A: My mother. She’s always supported me and I wouldn’t be so confident and brave if it wasn’t for her.

Q: What is one thing you’ve learned about business, people, or yourself, during your career thus far?

A: I learned that you’ve got to work ten times harder than you think you do to accomplish a milestone in your career.

Q: Congratulations on your nomination for this year’s JUNO Breakthrough Artists of the Year, what are you most excited about this coming year?

A: Thank you! I’m most excited about my projects that will be released! CITIZENS will be coming out so soon and the closer we get to that day the more excited and nervous I’m getting.

Q: What tip(s) do you have for fellow songwriters for successful co-writing / collaborating?

A: To be open to learning from others. Everyone brings something special to the table and the more you’re willing to listen to others’ ideas, the better a songwriter you can become.
