As the CEO of Manitoba Film & Music, Lynne oversees the organization’s strategy and operations, promoting Manitoba around the world as the ideal location for filming and music recording. Previously, as the Executive Director of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Lynne led the organization’s year-round operations and events including the signature 4-day summer music festival to record attendance and revenues. She also spent more than twelve years in film & television, largely at Frantic Films, where, as President of Production, she was responsible for original production, finance and business affairs and international distribution. A strong and passionate supporter of her community, Lynne has also volunteered on several boards and committees, including the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Imagine Canada and the Canadian Live Music Association.
