“Jennifer Foster’s new album “Powerline” is a wonderful collection of songs - no shortage of sweet melodies and intimate lyrics..." - Ron Sexsmith

Toronto's own Jennifer Foster is a singer-songwriter known for her diverse musical sensibilities and a depth of feeling that’s up front and honest. Her new album entitled “Powerline” promises a fresh batch of acoustic-based folk-pop songs due out later this year, an album she co-produced with Robbie Grunwald. Jennifer has three previous recordings under her belt, her last album received a JUNO nomination along with Michael Phillip Wojewoda for Producer of the Year. Jennifer has collaborated with many on the Canadian music scene over the years, working with the likes of Carole Pope, Lori Cullen, the Rheostatics, Moe Berg and The Pursuit of Happiness, Kevin Hearn of BNL, Melanie Doane, and many more. As a veteran performer Jennifer’s varied career has also included work in TV and film, appearing alongside Catherine O’Hara for five seasons as a member of the “Jazzagals” on the Emmy award-winning “Schitt’s Creek”.
