- Written Submission - What makes this person / company a great fit?: I think that the nominee would be a great fit as Artist of The Year as well as Excellence in Live Music because the nominee has been a lead vocalist/frontwoman in “Luscious” for as long as she can remember, being representation to women in rock music. Her life has been dedicated to her craft, supporting Canadian and International rock acts such as Def Leppard, Tom Morello (Ottawa Bluesfest Main Stage) The Beaches, Kim Mitchell, Trooper, I Mother Earth, David Wilcox, Chantal Kreviazuk, Burton Cummings and many more. Live Performance and being an artist is second nature to her. At 26 years old, Brielle LeBlanc is a frontwoman for a Canadian rock band that has represented and tried to lead as an example for many young Canadian women to pursue the genre of rock music.
- Written Submission - How would this Honour benefit the nominee?: This honour would benefit the nominee as she would receive recognition in the Canadian rock music scene as woman in rock music, as well as leading example to young women of Canada that it is possible to pursue a career in being in a rock band, a very male dominated genre. Supporting The Beaches in 2024 and then Def Leppard and Tom Morello, the recognition for this nominee in her live performance would expand her message to young women in rock to pursue their dreams and that it is possible to exceed in Canada as a performing rock artist. It would inspire many of her following in Luscious through Ontario and make an impact to the younger generations to be recognized in this category, as a rock band from Kingston, Ontario. It would make a difference in not only her lives, but the women and bandmates around her life.
