Danica is a driving force in the Canadian music industry. With her notable work in music supervision and inclusive leadership, she consistently pushes boundaries to create meaningful opportunities for others—particularly women and marginalized communities.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Danica’s passion for the music industry is deeply inspiring. Her commitment to equity, creativity, and community makes her a truly deserving recipient of the Women in Music Canada Award! - Written Submission - How do you know the person / company: We have worked together at Pirate Sound for just over one year. She has exponentially grown our music department, and expanded our Canadian music and Canadian independent music reach.
- Written Submission - How would this Honour benefit the nominee?: It would be a huge honour for Danica and also a proud moment for our company as we work toward a more inclusive music industry. Danica pours her heart into the music community, and the Pirate team would love to see her receive the recognition she never asks for, but deserves.
