- Written Submission - What makes this person / company a great fit?: Jasmine is an extraordinarily gifted artist and multi-instrumentalist. She plays upright bass, custom foot drums and songs at the same time. She is also a songwriter, producer, manager, booker, visual artist. The last two Blue Moon Marquee albums that she co-wrote, produced and performed on were nominated for Juno’s and they won last year (2024) She also creates so much of the visual art for the band, drives like a long haul trucker, loads all her own gear. And lives with Endometriosis.

- Written Submission - How would this Honour benefit the nominee?: She has been in the music / arts scene in Canada for 20 years and I feel has still not gotten her flowers. We have performed all over the world and we always have people say they have never scene anyone do what she does…. And with such prowess. As many of the credits on our albums are under the guise of ‘Blue Moon Marquee’ so many people do not realize she is performing- singing and playing multiple instruments, songwriting, producing, she has done years of managing, booking, she even ran a performance space in the downtown Eastside of Vancouver. She has done it all and the whole time being professional, kind, funny, and caring.
