- Written Submission - What makes this person / company a great fit?: NUDO represents the fusion of artistry and entrepreneurship - a self-directed project built entirely from the ground up by multidisciplinary artist, composer and producer Manuela Nudo. With no label or management backing, NUDO has grown organically through dedication, creativity, and strategic innovation. Every aspect of the project - from songwriting, production, and visual design to branding, marketing and distribution - is created and managed independently. NUDO's success reflects the entrepreneurial spirit at its core: transforming artist vision into a sustainable creative business. Through bold storytelling, meticulous sound design, and distinctive visual branding, NUDO has established a strong international audience across streaming platforms and global engagement. Beyond music, the project embodies empowerment - showing how women in Canada can build thriving creative ventures from passion, discipline and self-belief. - Written Submission - How do you know the person / company: I am the founder, artist and creative director of NUDO. This project represents my full-time artistic work. from sound to brand development and audience growth.
- Written Submission - How would this Honour benefit the nominee?: Receiving this honour would amplify NUDO's mission to inspire creativity, independence and resilience among women in the arts especially to young women seeking their confidence in their voice. As an entirely self -produced and self managed artist, this recognition would provide greater visibility and credibility within Canada's creative industry, helping expand NUDO's reach to new audience, collaborators and opportunities. This honour would also strengthen the projects ability to generate sustainable income through music, production , and visual arts - empowering NUDO to continue creating meaningful, high quality work without external limitations. Most importantly, it would serve as a reminder that woman in Canada can build successful creative enterprises from their own vision, resources, and determination - turning art into both a livelihood and a legacy.
