- Written Submission - What makes this person / company a great fit?: Anastasiya Petrova (aka Ocevnside Clvb) is an alumna of Music Publishers Canada's Women In The Studio national accelerator (2022), recipient of the 2021 MusiCounts Accelerate Scholarship and a graduate of Harris Institute for the Arts’ Audio Production and Arts Management programs, , She has worked out of Post Office Sound, Spotify Studios, Anthem Studios at Noble Street, Grayson Music, Orange Lounge, Arthaus and more. She has recorded, produced and written for some of Toronto’s hottest acts and has worked with Canadian music royalty like Tyler Shaw and Serena Ryder. Ana landed her first cut with Andrea Ramolo's "Golden" which was licensed for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games (CBC). After signing with High Priestess Publishing, Ana landed her second cut at an Apple+ song camp ("Endless Day" released by Leonie Binney, April 2025) and her third cut with OUDI's "Save You Now" (released in June 2025) which was licensed by Riot Games. Her undeniable talent and ethos of inclusion is blazing a trail for under-represented producers in international song camps and writing rooms around the world. While Ana's track record speaks for itself, the reason Ana is a great fit for this award is the time and dedication she has put towards her craft as a producer. Her work ethic paired with her collaborative spirit (and great ears!) are what make her stand out. Her greatest quality as a producer, aside from her talent, is that she is a genuinely caring listener who takes her job of supporting artists and their vision to heart. She is flipping the script at international song camps not only by sitting in the producer's seat and holding her own but by changing the language and the approach to collaboration within a studio setting, bringing artists and topliners into the decision-making process. She is part of the new wave of women producers creating safe and inclusive studio spaces. She is also a valued mentor to the Women In The Studio program, where she supports and uplifts up-and-coming producer-songwriters, increasing visibility and viability for future generations to come.

- Written Submission - How would this Honour benefit the nominee?: I know that winning this honour would be a dream come true for Ana and would encourage her to continue with her craft. It would also put her on the industry's radar as a producer-for-hire, and foster new connections with artists and labels. While she is well-known within the LGBTQ+ community, she is still somewhat underground and undiscovered in mainstream circles. Giving her more exposure would help generate press opportunities and promotional assets that are sorely needed since producers traditionally don't have speaking opportunities and don't receive gear endorsements until they are recognized by the Grammys or JUNOs and other high profile organizations. Winning Women In Music Canada's first inaugural Excellence in Sound Production Award would be a game changer for Ana. Thank you for your consideration.
